Licensed product updates

Update guide

CarDet delivers licensed updates through Freemius in the WordPress dashboard.

  1. Create a database and file backup.
  2. Test the new release on a staging copy whenever possible.
  3. Open Dashboard → Updates or Plugins in WordPress.
  4. Confirm that the CarDet Booking license is active.
  5. Install the available CarDet Booking update.
  6. Confirm the displayed version and review Settings → System.
  7. Complete a test booking and, when enabled, a payment and calendar-sync test.

Manual fallback

If an automatic update is unavailable, download the latest licensed ZIP from Freemius and upload it through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose Replace current with uploaded when prompted.

Normal upgrades preserve configuration and booking data. Do not delete the plugin unless you understand the configured uninstall-data behavior.
